Meet The Doctors

Dr. Donald Fox

Orthodontist

Dr. Donald Fox is an award winning orthodontist and member of our dental team. With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Fox is a noted expert in the orthodontic field, having successfully treated over 15,000 patients. He graduated from the University of Richmond, where he studied how visible light could be used to repair damaged bacterial DNA. Dr. Fox took his passion for research to dental school where he graduated #1 in his class of 115 students. In 1987, Dr. Fox conducted the earliest research on permanent retainers and the innovative blue light cured glues that have become a dental industry standard. He also won the highest award, the Harry Sicher Award, given by the American Association of Orthodontists for his research into birth defects from mothers consuming Tylenol.

As a strong believer in early preventative orthodontic care through surgical and non-surgical means, Dr. Fox has developed his own unique thumb-sucking cessation treatment plan for children and adults. Approximately 10 percent of Americans between age 2 and 30, about 2.4 million children, suck their thumbs. His soon to be released book is concentrated on how to stop thumb sucking.

Since entering private practice, Dr. Fox has written over 480 articles related to training staff in dentistry as well as producing more than 120 educational videos, all of which have helped thousands of people. The first visit for your child should be age 6 since Dr. Fox is an expert in early treatment!

Adults also enjoy Dr. Fox’s expertise in Invisalign, which he has over 18 years of success with thousands of patients.



Dr. Dianoris Lora

Dr. Dianoris Lora grew up in Barranquilla, Colombia, earning her Dental degree from Metropolitan University. When she first moved to the United States, Dr. Lora began working as a Dental Hygienist, while pursuing her career as a Dental Resident at WIHCC. She received her Doctorate in Dental Science from NYU Lutheran Medical Center in 2016 and moved to Florida. Dr. Lora is a member of the American Dental Association and is fluent in English and in Spanish.

You will find Dr. Lora is a very caring dentist who always takes the time to make sure patients feel comfortable and relaxed. She works hard to ensure everyone receives the optimal dental solution. This caring attitude extends beyond BGR Dental, as Dr. Lora volunteers at the Mission Medical Center in West Delray Beach (Our Lady Queen of Peace) as a Dentist.  In her remaining free time, Dr. Lora loves spending time with her husband Sebastian and with her family and friends. She has numerous interests which include listening to Latin music, traveling and keeping fit with Zumba classes.


 


Dr. Marielba Maniglia

Dr. Marielba Maniglia graduated with her first Dental degree from the Central University of Venezuela in Caracas, in 2000. By 2005, Dr. Maniglia was teaching Dentistry at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. She remained on the staff until 2007 before returning to school for her second D.M.D. degree. In 2011 Dr. Maniglia graduated with her second Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from Nova Southeastern University.

Like everyone here at BGR Dental, Dr. Maniglia is passionate about continuing education and every year she attends numerous courses, including ongoing education in Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry. Dr. Maniglia is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Dental Implant Association. She is an extremely kind and compassionate dentist who always has the time to listen to her patients to discover how best to help them. Dr. Maniglia is fluent in English and Spanish.

 


Dr. Carolina Cortez

Dr. Carolina Cortez grew up in Colombia, moving to the United States aged 16. After working hard to gain her citizenship, Dr. Cortez completed her undergraduate degree in Biology, before gaining her Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences. She gradated with her Doctoral Degree in Dentistry from Nova Southeastern University in Florida in 2011. Dr. Cortez worked as a General Dentist until 2013, before joining the military. She served in Bavaria as a Dental Officer until 2015 and during this time she also volunteered with the American Red Cross in Germany, training family members of military personnel to become dental assistants. With her strong commitment to ongoing professional education, Dr. Cortez chose to expand her knowledge by taking part in the Infection Control Manager and Train the Trainer in Patient Safety course offered by the U.S. Department of Defense.


Since her honorable discharge, Dr. Cortez has returned to Florida to work with us here at BGR Dental. Dr. Cortez continues to expand her skills and is a certified Invisalign provider, helping to provide patients with straighter and healthier smiles. She is an extremely kind dentist and her calm demeanour helps to soothe even the most nervous patients. Everybody seeing Dr. Cortez is treated like family, and she only recommends the dental care needed to keep teeth and gums in great shape. 


 


Azadeh Rezaie

Dr. Azadeh Rezaie attended Nova Southeastern University, graduating in the top ten with honors in Endodontics and Pediatrics. She is an extremely dedicated dentist who is firmly committed to providing her patients with high quality dental care.


Dr. Rezaie is very approachable and easy to talk to, as she feels it is vital for people to receive dental care in a friendly and comfortable environment. She takes the time to listen to patient’s concerns, to gain a better understanding of their dental needs, providing dental care that is truly customized. Dr. Rezaie allows plenty of time to discuss all treatment plans, so patients will learn how all possible options will help their oral health. Through patient education, Dr. Rezaie helps people take control of their dental health so they know how best to look after their teeth at home. 


While Dr. Rezaie loves treating patients of all ages, she is particularly enjoys seeing children. She is passionate about ensuring children receive a positive experience whenever they see a dentist, so they can grow up with healthy smiles and all the knowledge needed to maintain healthy teeth. She also works with nursing homes, helping older people with oral hygiene instructions.


Dr. Rezaie is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry and South Florida District Dental Association. In her free time, she loves to travel and to cook, and to catch up with friends and family.

 


Dr. Natalie Godoy

Dr. Natalie Godoy was born in California but grew up in South Florida. She graduated from Florida State University with a Degree in biology and minor in chemistry and psychology. After moving to New York City, Dr. Godoy graduated from New York University College of Dentistry with her Doctoral Degree in 2016 before returning to South Florida.

Dr. Godoy is a friendly and dedicated dentist who is extremely easy to talk to, and like many of our dental team she is bilingual. A caring and compassionate dentist, Dr. Godoy always treats patients with the greatest respect. Dr. Godoy is particularly interested in cosmetic dentistry, especially Invisalign, veneers and Lumineers. She is a member of the American Dental Association, South Florida District Dental Association and Florida Dental Association.

Away from the world of dentistry Dr. Godoy has lots of interest which include horseback riding, volleyball and spending time at the beach, and traveling. She is married to her childhood sweetheart and they are looking forward to welcoming their first baby.
